THE RAPTURE

Two women, one with short dark hair and the other with short red hair, are sitting on a rock with water pouring over them. The sky is visible in the background.

The project delves into exploration of deconstructing the intricate sce- narios that unfold within the human psyche. Specifically, it focuses on those moments when individuals confront adversity, unraveling the very ideas they construct to navigate the challenges embedded in their daily lives. These are instances where unpleasant situations loom large, threatening to dismantle the coping mechanisms carefully fashioned to address various distresses.

On the other hand, the project extends its exploration to the realm of fantasy that individuals construct as a means of bridging the gaps and ad- dressing the fallout from those distressing scenarios. It involves the creation of ideas surrounding specific individuals, places, and situations - constructs that may not necessarily align with reality but possess a captivating allure for our imaginations. This aspect delves into the human tendency to fabri- cate alternate narratives and scenarios, serving as a coping mechanism to counterbalance the unsettling aspects of reality.
