FLUX

Experimental short film

Film by Buba Beboshvili - Flux - Bauhaus

FLUX is an experimental film - exploring the themes of belonging, displacement and distant memory through the visual language of fashion, scenography, sound design and post-production. clothing becomes a metaphor for transition and self-defense, symbolizing self-control and the layers that the human psyche builds to naviagate a world of uncertainty. set against a backdrop of shifting spaces and relationships, FLUX reflects on the repeti- tive nature of the human experience, where each transition brings both the possibility of be- longing and the risk of alienation. Blurring the boundaries between the inner world of emotions and the outer realities of social life, the film offers a meditative exploration of identity in FLUX.

At its core, the project suggests the creation of an Escapist phenomenon a state in which one withdraws from reality and seeks refuge in a self-created realm. The fiilm unfolds through the structure in which the sequence of scenes is determined solely by the moments in which the events take place. by presenting time as an uninterrupted sequence, the narrative captures the essence of life in the present by depicting each moment as it happens. In this way, a sense of continuity is created where the present flows seamlessly into a unpredictable future, drawing the viewer into the time loops.
